Wow! Very inspiring. I as well will be graduating this weekend! It was a sad day knowing that as I walked through OSU's campus, it would be the last time. At least as a student. Although graduation is an exciting time in a persons life and is a huge…

You are such an inspiration Cindy! This blog means more to most of us than we realize. I am a little scared of ending the bittersweet walk but I am excited at the same time. Here I was the other day complaining because I didn't finish in four years…

Congratulations! Stick it out, Michael. You'll be able to help them more as you are able to provide for them more. Time goes really fast. One word of advice: Hire a babysitter at least once a month and take your wife out. Remember, she is the one y…

A Bittersweet Walk

Yesterday, I completed my last assignment and gave my last presentation. If this had happened in 1972, as originally planned, I know I would have raced off campus shouting for joy and probably never looked back; but instead, I found myself a bit melancholy as I walked the halls of the OSU-Tulsa campus for the last time.

It was a bittersweet moment as I drove off campus and thought about how much I would miss the teachers, staff, students and classes that have become a part of my life for the la… Continue

Final Draft Here I Come!

I'm now working on the final draft of an IMC project that will bring my college experience to an end. I can't believe it's almost over. It seems like just a few months ago that I started this journey, and now, here I am less than four weeks away from graduation!

I so appreciate Oklahoma State University, the teachers, and the classwork. All of my classes have been extremely helpful in furthering my journalism goals.

This semester, I've learned to create an integrated marketing campaign from sc… Continue

Social Media Releases from a User's Perspective

As a blogger and writer for iPhone Life Magazine, I receive about ten SMRs every day. Here is what I like and don't like about them:

I like getting preview information about new releases in iPhone and iPod apps. It allows me to contact the developer and write a review just as the app is coming out on the market.

I appreciate links in the SMR that take me to the company Web page or a YouTube video that describes the app and provides a… Continue

Actually my other class isn't online. And I don't think i could keep up with two online courses. I am just trying to keep up too, but you seem to really have your stuff under control and I admire your consistency with updating all of your pages.

Hi Cindy, really most people generally don't know where that is. Awesome! I am actually struggling with the class, like keeping up with discussions, assignments, etc. I am not very comfortable with using social media sites, I mean I have a facebook and can do that but I am terrible about checking it. I have a twitter now because of this class and not really keeping up with it very good, I am in PR Comm Methods too, that is fun (not really) just because of the same stuff. Thanks for asking I am sure you really wanted my life history right there, sorry! How are you doing? You are pretty savvy with this stuff, or you seem to be.

I looove the glitter! I'm liking the class so far...just struggling to keep up with all the discussions and assignments in all the different places! (In addition to keeping up with my 3 other classes!) How are you doing? Aren't you in History of Mass Comm too?

Hi! I am from Illinois in Chicago, but I go to school at OSU. I am studying abroad this semester, so this class is very interesting to do from Europe!
