So I am looking at a calendar and I realize I have been in Europe for exactly 3 months; I also realize that I leave in two weeks. Part of me wonders where the time has gone, but part of me is so excited to go home.

So, now that I have less then a month left in Europe, I feel compelled to absorb as much as I can about their culture – as far as advertising, marketing, and business goes.

As I am sitting in my marketing class (yes, I am doing homework in another class) my professor is currently talking about Sweden. He told us that Sweden is loosing their language. OK, sorry it has been a while, but two weeks of midterms kill me every time. Back to marketing and advertising in Europe though. Two things that have really stood out to me in the last two months is 1) wow, it’s been months and 2) what is up with all the graffiti? Everywhere you walk around Rome, there is graffiti everywhere. If there is an empty space anywhere, whether it is on a wall or a monument, there is some little tag done by someone expressing themselves.

Rome never ceases to amaze me. You know what, Europe as a whole never ceases to amaze me. They are all so affected by the culture and climate of their neighboring country. I tend to forget that Europe is a cluster of countries and not just one country with several different states.
