Congrats on the internship! I also feel behind on this whole social media thing, but I am starting to get the hang of it. I just now feel comfortable with Twitter, I think it's a great way to communicate, but I still would rather use e-mail when try…

Brenna and Marissa, I also feel like I am lagging behind the rest of the class! The thing with social media is that you put your message out there and you aren't sure who is going to see it, read it or respond to it. And with e-mail, the person you…

nicest school at Oklahoma State University?

Since I've been here at Oklahoma State University I have made an observation. Now this is completely opinion, but I would venture to say that the students, faculty and staff are by far the nicest on campus in the School of Journalism and Broadcast.

All but two of my classes for the past two semesters have been in the JB school and before that I have had at least one or two of my classes in the JB building. I have spent a significant amount of time there. I have also spent ample time in other bu… Continue

E-mail no longer useful? Not true!

I am still one of the few people in JB4520, I think, that still doesn't have a strong grasp on all this social media stuff. I try, I stay relatively engaged, and try to keep up with the newest stuff. I don't know how to make anything "fancy" or anything like that . . . I sit in class and listen to all these people that know so much about it. It's intimidating! To me anyways! All these people are getting recognized for their work and such, their knowledge of the social world.

I would like to arg… Continue
